Mission Friends provides mission education for preschoolers!

They can learn about missions too! The preschool years, birth through kindergarten, are the perfect time to begin training little minds in mission concepts. Mission Friends provides the building blocks of faith and a basic awareness of God's love for all people. Age-appropriate activities guide preschoolers to begin to understand that God loves everyone, sends helpers called missionaries and that they, too, can be His helpers.

How do preschoolers learn about missions in Mission Friends?

  • Hands-on activities

  • Sensory activities

  • Bible thoughts

  • Cultural learning activities

  • Mission stories

  • Prayer

  • Giving

  • Helping others

Mission Friends is a foundation for future generations of missionaries called by God to spread the Good News of His Son Jesus. There are many resources to help engage preschoolers of all ages in hands-on missions discipleship activities. Training is available to assist churches in beginning and leading a Mission Friends group.

The CA WMU underwrites free curriculum for one year to churches that have never had Mission Friends or have not had an emphasis for at least two years. The offer is available to CSBC congregations, new church plants and missions only through the CA WMU.
