Our Team

Eva De La Rosa

Executive Director, CA WMU

Eva’s primary responsibility and passion is to assist churches in the development and growth of the missions discipleship groups for adults, women, youth, children and preschoolers. As the CA WMU Executive Director, Eva provides a variety of opportunities to involve all church members. These may be one-time events, short-term activities, ongoing projects, and awareness opportunities. Eva is also responsible for assisting Missionaries on Stateside Assignment to connect with CSBC churches, assists with transportation to the Annual MK Re-Entry Retreat for missionary children returning to the US to attend college, and provides on-going Women’s Leadership Development opportunities.

Eva is a graduate from California Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Social Work and a master’s degree in Counseling Ministry. She previously served as the Site Coordinator of Central Coast Christian Women’s Job Corps, as Education Director at New Hope Community Church in El Monte, and most recently with the CSBS as part of the Evangelism & Missions Initiative Team. Eva has been a Pastor’s wife since 1986, married to Gil De La Rosa (Director of Missions for Gold Coast Baptist Association), and has two adult children, five grandchildren and fove greatgrandchildren.

Margaret Collins

Margaret Collins is a minister’s wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and most important, a God-fearing woman who loves to sing, praise, and worship God. She is a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church in La Puente, California where Dr. Anthony L. Dockery is Pastor. 

She serves as the current President of the CA WMU; as a member of her local church she serves as the Chairperson of Women’s Council, Director of WMU Ministry, Director of Commitment Counseling Ministry, Grief Supporter for the Bereavement Ministry, Sunday School teacher, co-facilitator a Synergy Group on Mondays with her husband, a missionary to Mali, West, Africa, Volunteer In Service To Others (VISTO program) for youth in confinement, and a worker in the Food Bank and Homeless Ministry.

Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, California and a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree from Gateway Seminary in Ontario, California.

Sandy Hughes

Sandy Hughes is a former high school English and Drama teacher and current stay at home mom from Lake Isabella. She is married to Anthony Hughes and together they have 2 girls (Rosalinda and Juanita) and 2 boys (Bennett and Randall). Sandy has been singing in churches since she was old enough for her father, Dr. Randy Bennett, to stick a microphone in her hand and tell her, "whenever anyone asks you do to something for the Lord, say 'yes.'" She is currently serving the Lord as President-elect of CA WMU and as volunteer Children's Ministry Director at Mountain View Baptist Church, where on Sunday nights she leads Girls in Action. Her life verse is Revelation 3:8b, "I know you have but little strength, but you have kept my word, and have not denied my name."

Beverly Regensberg

Beverly Regensberg is a minister’s wife, preschool consultant, works part-time serving at CSBC in Fresno, and serves as secretary for CA WMU. Her love for missions was nurtured by her mother and her grandparents, having been involved in Sunbeams and GA when she was young, and recently was part of a missions vision team as part of the IMB-APAC/CSBC/Gateway Seminary/CAWMU partnership. Through the years God has led her in unique ways of serving Him: church planting, short term mission projects, ESL, VBS. She has a tender heart for missionaries and has served with various prayer groups for many years. Her husband, Darrell, recently retired as pastor of LifeWay Baptist Church in Fresno and is waiting to see where God leads him to serve. They have four adult kids and ten grandchildren.
