Keynote Speaker:
Robin Covington
Robin is a storyteller. Her story includes living overseas for 22 years, where she and her husband served as missionaries with the IMB in Russia and the Balkans. She speaks Russian with an American accent, Greek with a Russian accent, and English with a Texan accent. She is married to Randy, the mother of Adam and Corrie, and grandmother to four incredible grandkids.
Robin loves to tell encouraging stories that make women laugh and help them recognize the hand of God in their everyday lives. Robin has been published in several compilations, including Voices of the Faithful 1 & 2, Everyday Parenting, and Because of Hope: Reflections of Faith. She currently writes devotions for Thrive, a ministry to global workers. You can find her blog at robinleecovington.com.

Tracey Barksdale
Tracey Barksdale grew up in Bakersfield, California, where her faith journey began at a young age. While she came to know the Lord early on, it wasn’t until college at CSU Bakersfield—through Campus Crusade for Christ—that she fully surrendered her life to Christ. That season as a young adult not only shaped her walk with the Lord but also led her to meet her husband, Ty, whom she has been married to for nearly 17 years.
Tracey is a mom to three children, a high school English teacher, and a NAMB missionary alongside her husband as they replant Northside Baptist Church in Bakersfield. After nearly a decade serving in vocational church ministry, God called her into education, equipping her with both a teaching credential and a master’s degree to reach students in her community. She often says she is not there just to teach the students English, but to give them life skills, manners, and hope they see the love of Christ in her. As a lifelong Bakersfield resident, Tracey is deeply rooted in the place God has called her, with a heart for loving people right where she is planted.
Worship Leader:
Rose Asuncion
Rose accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord when she was 18 years old. From then on, she served in God-given ministries she loves most: teaching, music and missions. A graduate of Master of Divinity with first honors, she was adjunct lecturer at a Bible school in Hong Kong. In Singapore, she was involved in youth ministry, Praise Team and choir, and home Bible study.
She currently serves with Pastor Dennis Asuncion at the Filipino Ministry of Valley Baptist Church as Special Events Coordinator, Worship Leader, Women’s spiritual adviser, Discipleship Trainer, Life Group and home Bible study co-teacher.
Her missional passion is evident with short-term mission trips in Thailand and Panama and being a Project Leader of Operation Christmas Child.
